LCFA SUPPORTS SPRINKLER PROGRAM AT STEVENS TECH
The Lancaster County Firemen's Association thanked the Thaddeus Stevens College and Gene Duncan, the Director of Construction Projects and Facilities, for their long time partnership in fire safety and training.
Over the years they have allowed us to use their grounds and
facilities for fire training and under the supervision of Gene Duncan built our first fire safety trailer that contributed to fire safety education throughout Lancaster County.
Over the years their students were also taught the construction trades as they built many homes in Eastern Lancaster City.
Lancaster County Firemen's Association especially want torecognize the past year'sconstruction of two homes where residential sprinklers systems were installed.
In recognition and support of their efforts the Lancaster County Firemen's Association presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to the Thaddeus Stevens ongoing Housing Construction Program and encourage them to continued to install residential sprinkler systems in the future homes that they build.
