Pictured above left is Millersville Major Dick Morarity who also serves as Treasurer of the Millersville Fire Co. opening a fire extinguisher that served as a 25 year time capsule, enclosed was a 2nd edition of IFSTA Essentials Manual, Newspapers, letters and school childrens fire safety drawings.

The two 2011 LCFA Convention marked several significant mile stones, it was the 250th Anniversary of the Millersville Boro and the 100th Anniversary of the Millersville Fire Department who will begin their second generation on July 1, 2011 as part of the Blue Rock Fire Department that will merge the Millersville Boro Company along with Manor Township, West Lancaster, Washington Boro and Highville Stations.
